LAZERDARC is a dry darkening compound.  Does not soak into wood under the lacquer at the edge of the lasered design like liquid boot polish.  There are no small bits of masking tape to pull out of the centers of small letters etc. as is the case when using black spray paint.  The black powder simply makes the job look like the laser burnt darker.
 
Black LAZERDARC may be brushed on to help darken the work or baked on to give it a distinct black color.
